These Terms govern your use of A11y Ledger. Please read them before using the Service.

By creating an account or using A11y Ledger (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
A11y Ledger is a web-based accessibility audit management platform that allows accessibility professionals and agencies to manage clients, track WCAG issues, log audit findings, assign team members, and generate reports. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with plan tiers as described on the pricing page.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Each subscription is tied to a workspace. Workspace admins control membership, roles, and access. A11y Ledger is not responsible for access decisions made by workspace admins.
Inviting a team member grants them access to the workspace under their assigned role. You are responsible for ensuring that invited members are authorized to access your client and audit data.
You may close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period following reasonable notice.
A11y Ledger offers a free trial and paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Agency, Enterprise). Plan features and limits are described on the pricing page and may change with advance notice.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time except where required by applicable law.
We will provide at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes arising from your use of the Service.
You retain full ownership of all client data, audit findings, and content you input into A11y Ledger. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.
By using the Service, you grant A11y Ledger a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
You can export your audit data at any time from within the platform. We will provide data export assistance for up to 30 days following account cancellation upon request.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you input. Do not upload data you do not have the right to use or share.
You may use A11y Ledger for lawful accessibility audit and compliance management purposes consistent with the intended functionality of the Service.
You may not: (a) use the Service to violate any law or regulation; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code; (c) use automated means to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure; (e) resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without express written permission; (f) introduce malware or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
The A11y Ledger platform, including its design, software, WCAG criterion data, built-in recommendation templates, and branding, is owned by A11y Ledger and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service itself.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant us an unrestricted, royalty-free license to use that feedback without obligation to you.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (billing) and Supabase (infrastructure). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. A11y Ledger is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
A11y Ledger is a workflow and tracking tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice, a compliance certification, or a guarantee that your clients' products meet any legal accessibility requirement. "Audit complete" status within the platform reflects the state of your tracked findings — it is not a legal attestation.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, A11y Ledger's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD. In no event shall A11y Ledger be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A11y Ledger and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections covering data ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
